The Newest Concept in Travel: The Photo Tour

We all go on vacation. We all have a camera and “try” to take good pictures. Some of us are more serious about it than others. We “try” and we “hope” we get at least ONE good shot to show our friends and family. Maybe we are already photographers with some level of expertise. But never seem to get the right shot, right exposure, the right sun, or be in the right place at the right time.

Your worries are over, your problem is solved. THE PHOTO TOUR. This is a package tour that is being offered in many different places, especially in Europe. I have seen them advertised on different web sites at all kinds of different rates. MOST are very expensive. They give you a lot, but are not really all inclusive.

They pick you up at the airport in Naples and take you to your hotel in Praiano which is just sort of “around the corner” from the mythical POSITANO. Each day you are escorted by a professional photographer who acts as guide and leader of the tour. The photographer is from the area and knows the best locations to shot photos from. The photographer also gives you a half day photo editing class as part of this tour, all included in the price.

Each day you will go to 2 or 3 different towns on the Amalfi Coast. Positano, Ravello, Amalfi to name a few. And it gets better. They will take you to Capri where you will have an official guide from the island to take you around to the best parts of the island to get the best shots, and give you great historical background of the area. The cost of the ferry to Capri is included in this price. The PHOTO TOUR OF THE AMALFI COAST will even take you to Pompeii where again you will have an official government licensed guide to fill you in on the history of this town and show you everything there is to see and everything thing there is to take photos of. As an added plus, there will be stops at a cheese making farm for tastings, and a winery for tastings, NO ADDITIONAL COST.

On your last night on THE PHOTO TOUR OF THE AMALFI COAST you will be picked up by transportation provided by a local 5 star restaurant with AMAZING views of the ocean for a farewell dinner. Again 4 courses WITH wine.  And at the photo editing class you had that afternoon, you submitted a photo in the photo contest. Everyone on the tour participates. That night at the farewell dinner the best photo is selected and the winner gets a bottle of lemoncello bottled in the region. It don’t get no better than lemoncello from the Amalfi Coast.

Now I bet your wondering how much this all cost. Remember it’s all inclusive, you only have to buy lunch while you are out for the day. Everything else is included, and when the week is over they take you back to the airport.

Total cost is…………for a single 2775 Euro and for a couple 4775 Euro. It’s priced in Euro due to the changing currency market. If it was priced in dollars they could never hold the price firm. 2500 today could be 2700 tomorrow. THAT’S the reason for the Euro Price.
