Whether it is romance, adventure or just the chance to spend some quality time with the family that you are looking for this vacation, why not consider cruising off along the horizon on a sailing holiday taking in the amazing sights and natural attractions of the Caribbean?

A sailing holiday is the perfect choice for travellers who like the idea of making their break their own. Getting behind the helm of a bareboat yacht and heading off into the sunset can feel like a real adventure compared to the rigid itinerary of a package holiday. Even if you don’t have very much sailing experience behind you, it is easy to enjoy a cruise on a luxury yacht with the help of your own personal skipper, who can do all the hard work for you. You just simply sit back, relax and enjoy the ride.

Why choose the Caribbean?
Caribbean sailing vacations are a popular choice, thanks to the stunning destinations available. From  the crystal clear, protected waters of the British Virgin Islands to the 2nd largest barrier reef system and unspoilt natural settings of Belize, there is so much to offer here. Whichever area of the Caribbean you choose, you will discover friendly and laid back locals ready to welcome you into their picturesque corner of the globe, a range of sumptuous food and drink delicacies to tempt those taste buds and some of the world’s most spectacular open waters.

What’s so special about sailing?
A sailing holiday gives you the chance to make your own adventure, escaping onto the high seas,  discovering remote bays and beaches that can only be accessed by boat and getting away from the usual hustle and bustle offered by the busy resorts and beach hotels. Sharing a luxury yacht lets you spend quality time with family and friends, sharing new experiences without the distractions of other holiday makers around you. What’s more, that with the additional extra activities that can easily be scheduled into your day, such as snorkelling, kayaking or taking an inland tour, you can make your holiday exactly what you want it to be.

Do I need experience?
The great thing about a sailing holiday around the Caribbean is that you don’t necessarily have to have  any sailing experience. If you do and you like the idea of heading out with just you and the family, then that’s fine, choose bareboat charter yacht and make your own adventure. However, if you haven’t sailed before, or simply fancy a bit of luxury on your trip, then take advantage of a crewed vessel, with a  skipper to plot your course and make sure you see the best of the Caribbean’s stunning natural beauty  and your own personal chef to help you experience some of the local delicacies too.
